- Full-time, days, with weekend rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from illness or injury
- Provide patient care through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as directed
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes
- Support patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to patient care and recovery
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with post-hospital, short-term rehabilitation, or long-term care populations
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance processes
- Bilingual skills a plus
