Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care to individuals requiring telemetry monitoring and support.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to patient needs promptly.
- Float to various units including emergency department holds, inpatient units, PACU, and other boarding units as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards, including mandatory certifications and protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
- Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Ability to work rotating days and nights with every other weekend commitment.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM or 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM).
- Willingness to work weekends, including some holiday periods, with no time off approved during Christmas.
- Must have recent experience in a Level 1 trauma setting or be willing to acquire it if no prior travel experience.
- Separate from any BILH employment for at least 6 months if previously employed there.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS (American Heart Association) certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- Prior experience in telemetry and Level 1 trauma environments.
- Flexibility to float across multiple units and work in various clinical settings.
