Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a medical surgical and telemetry unit.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical needs promptly.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient assessments and treatment progress accurately.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Virginia.
- 1-2 years of nursing experience.
- Experience working in community hospitals preferred.
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to shift schedules.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry units.
- Familiarity with hospital protocols and patient care standards in community settings.
