- Full-time, travel, 13-week assignment, day shift (7 AM – 7 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Oncology unit.
- Administer chemotherapy and manage various patient procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals, document assessments, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain high standards of infection control and patient safety.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and support unit policies.
- Adhere to unit-specific guidelines and protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in Medical Surgical or Oncology.
- Ability to perform chemotherapy administration.
- Strong interpersonal skills, compassionate nature.
Preferred Skills / Experience
- Chemotherapy certification.
- Experience in a well-organized, fast-paced oncology unit.
- Knowledge of Meditech or similar electronic medical records systems.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including oncology patients.
