Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care and therapy services.
- Implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress under supervision.
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment is sanitized and ready for sessions.
- Document patient responses and progress following established protocols.
- Educate patients on exercises and post-treatment care to promote recovery.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification in the state of Massachusetts.
- Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient therapy setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with orthopedic or rehabilitative therapy.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
