Key Responsibilities
- Perform intraoperative cardiovascular operating room procedures as a CVOR technician.
- Recognize and manage ECG rhythms accurately.
- Assist surgical teams during CVOR cases, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
- Maintain current, demonstrable experience in CVOR for at least 18 months prior to travel assignments.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members, providing support during vascular and cardiovascular surgeries.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent CVOR Tech/SA experience.
- Vascular experience required.
- Must have a minimum of 18 months permanent CVOR Tech/SA experience before travel assignments.
- Recent references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the relevant specialty.
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment with acceptable scores during orientation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in high-volume cardiac surgery environments.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, collaborative surgical teams.
