Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shift (7 p.m. - 7 a.m.), 3x12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide surgical assistance and support within the operating room setting
- Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and equipment setup for various procedures
- Maintain sterile environment and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Support surgical team during neuro, vascular, thoracic, orthopedic/spine, and other operative cases
- Float between service lines and potentially work at sister facilities as needed
- Participate in on-call rotation, including weekend call responsibilities every 5th weekend
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year recent, well-rounded OR tech experience
- Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) certification (NCCT not accepted)
- BLS certification
- Radiation safety badge (must be provided by agency)
- Ability to work nights, weekdays, and participate in on-call and weekend shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with neuro, vascular, thoracic, orthopedics/spine, and total joint surgeries
- Experience with robotic surgical procedures in general, urology, and gynecology
