Key Responsibilities
• Operate GE MRI scanners (1.5T and 3T) to acquire diagnostic images.
• Follow MRI safety guidelines and maintain patient safety protocols.
• Start IVs and assist with patient preparation for MRI procedures.
• Document procedures accurately using Epic EMR system.
• Assist with departmental procedures including outpatient, inpatient, and ED cases.
• Collaborate with MRI assistant staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
Required Qualifications
• Active Illinois licensure or confirmation of application process.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy Radiography (RTR MR).
• Knowledge of GE MRI scanners (1.5T and 3T), MRI safety, IV insertion, and standard imaging sequences.
• Ability to work with hospital-specific software (Epic, GE equipment).
• Ability to work in multiple patient settings and cover various departments as needed.
• Must be able to start IVs and follow safety protocols.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with GE MRI scanners (1.5T and 3T).
• Familiarity with MRI safety guidelines and patient positioning.
• Experience working in outpatient, inpatient, or emergency settings.
• Ability to work unsupervised and adapt to rotating shifts.

Note:
Candidates must meet all certification and licensure requirements, adhere to departmental dress code (solid scrubs, tattoos covered), and complete departmental orientation. Weekend and holiday work may be required. No call or standby duties are associated with this role.
