Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, Night shifts (3x12-hour shifts) on weekdays and some weekends, rotating holidays. Candidates must be flexible to float within units of the same or lower acuity levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in the IMC, PCU, or stepdown units during night shifts.
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changes in acuity promptly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Perform IV starts and manage telephonic communications as required.
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical standards.
- Document patient progress accurately and thoroughly.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse license in Ohio.
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of PCU/IMC/Stepdown nursing experience.
- Proficient in IV starts and telephonic patient communication.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows.
