Registered Nurse Telemetry
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients in an acute care hospital setting
- Monitor patient vitals and cardiac rhythms, promptly responding to any changes
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
- Assist with orthopedic and spine patient needs, along with telemetry overflow
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC)
- Float to all acute care units as needed and based on unit requirements
Required Qualifications
- Kansas RN license or Compact RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Minimum 1 year recent telemetry experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 18 months of hospital experience, with orthopedic and spine care preferred
- Experience working with EPIC EMR system

Notes
- This role is at a nicotine-free facility.
- Bi-weekly pay schedule.
- Candidate may be asked to float to various acute care units.
- Every other weekend required; holiday needs based on unit requirements.
- On-call responsibilities are not required.
- Cancellations allowed as per policy with minimum 2-hour notice, documented in the Smart Square app.
- Submission must include the KU Submittal Form.
