Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shift, full-time (36 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Administer dialysis treatments, including bedside and peritoneal dialysis, to patients in a hospital setting.
- Float between units and hospitals as needed to support staffing needs.
- Follow established protocols for patient safety and treatment quality.
- Collaborate with dialysis technicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Document treatments and patient responses accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Participate in on-call responsibilities during evenings, weekends, and after-hours.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or higher.
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Alabama or a compact state. No temporary licenses accepted.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in dialysis.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English proficiently.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Professional nursing certification related to dialysis or critical care.
- Experience working in a hospital dialysis unit.
