Key Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry nursing care in a hospital setting, including monitoring and managing cardiac patients.
• Float to various units such as emergency department holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed.
• Adhere to established protocols and ensure patient safety during assigned shifts.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Complete required testing and initial assessments prior to placement.

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification from AHA.
• Valid RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Experience with telemetry patients strongly preferred.
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts with every other weekend required.
• Willingness to float to different units as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification from AHA.
• NIHSS certification is a plus.
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred; candidates without prior travel experience must have worked in a Level 1 trauma setting within the last six months.
• Recent hospital nursing experience, with at least 6 months of separation from any BILH-affiliated facility if applicable.

Additional Notes

• BILH coversheet required at submission.
• Day one pass/fail testing will be administered.
• Relias practice tests are available for skills assessment.
• No Christmas time off will be approved.
• Weekly start dates on Mondays, and guaranteed hours are 72 biweekly, excluding on-call time.
• Candidates will undergo IVS review prior to consideration.
