Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility setting.
• Float to various units as needed, including dementia care units.
• Follow all facility protocols, including documentation and medication administration.
• Work every other weekend, maintaining consistent schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality resident care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid LVN or LPN license.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent LTC experience.
• Current BLS certification through AHA.
• Ability to provide a minimum of 7 years of background checks, including nationwide, county court searches, FACIS 3, and sex offender registry, within 18 months of start date.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Willingness to float between units as needed.
• Comfortable working with dementia patients.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Knowledge of facility operations such as bed counts and facility type.
