Key Responsibilities
• Provide respiratory care to a diverse patient population for therapeutic purposes
• Perform bedside diagnostic procedures as needed
• Review and maintain individualized respiratory care plans
• Conduct patient evaluations and adjust care based on clinical needs
• Assist in training and mentoring students and new hires
Required Qualifications
• Graduate of a recognized respiratory therapy program
• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC
• Current Indiana State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners
• Current certification in CPR
• (Parkview Randallia location only) – must have ACLS and NRP certifications or obtain within 6 months of employment
• (Community Hospital locations) – must have ACLS and NRP certifications or obtain within 6 months of hire or transfer; PALS and Stable certifications preferred but not required
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Ability to be on call
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
