• Full-time, night shifts, weekends and holidays required, contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients during 12-hour night shifts
• Pass ECG, telemetry, and medication tests during onboarding with a 85% passing score on the first attempt
• Complete tests via Zoom prior to assignment, with testing required within 48 hours of offer
• Float to similar units and overflow areas as needed while maintaining quality patient care
• Adhere to hospital protocols, including flu vaccination, BLS certification, and other professional developmental activities

Required Qualifications

• Valid Rhode Island license as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience demonstrating nursing proficiency
• Ability to pass telemetry competency exams
• Current AHA BLS certification required; ACLS certification required
• Knowledge of critical paths and demonstrated professional development
• Charge nurse experience preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a fast-paced hospital environment with telemetry units
• Previous charge nurse responsibilities or leadership experience
• Proven ability to pass rigorous competency tests on the first attempt

Additional Notes

• Candidates must be separated from any facility within the past six months if previously employed at similar organizations; local travelers within 50 miles are not eligible
• Orientation is biweekly, and all interview and availability details should be provided upfront
• Guarantee hours are 72 biweekly, exclusive of on-call time
