Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Assess patient conditions, prioritize care, and coordinate treatment plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and perform medical procedures as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately using the facility’s EMR system.
• Work a minimum of every other weekend, with flexibility to meet unit needs, including working 2 out of 4 holidays.

Required Qualifications

• Active AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications required prior to start; TNCC must be in your certification packet or proof of class.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience, preferably in large, teaching hospitals.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred, especially in facilities with 500+ beds or multiple ERs.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Additional certifications such as CEN, ENPC, MOAB, or de-escalation training like CPS are a plus.
• Experience working in teaching hospitals and large facility settings.

Additional Details

• Initial assignment: 16-32 weeks starting December 1st.
• Compensation: Travel rates at $105/hour; local rates at $95/hour (within 50 miles); extended radius rates at $100/hour (51-100 miles).
• Orientation: Bi-weekly sessions, next orientation on December 15th.
• Candidate must explain all employment gaps over 90 days and ensure complete work history submission, including bed count, facility type, and EMR details.
• Reliable transportation is required; public transit is not accessible in this area.

• No block scheduling; working from Monday to Sunday.
