- Full-time, Night shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients during night shifts.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to alarms appropriately.
- Perform ECGs, medications administration, and other procedures as required.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal care.
- Document patient data accurately and maintain up-to-date records.
- Float to similar units and overflow areas as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license.
- At least 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience.
- Ability to pass Telemetry Competency Exam.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- AHA ACLS certification required.
- Knowledge of Critical Paths and professional development activities.
- Experience as a Charge Nurse preferred.
- Ability to pass ECG, Dysrhythmia, and Medications tests during onboarding (pass/fail, one attempt only).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior charge nurse experience.
- Experience with critical care or overflow units.
