Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and support of surgical procedures across various specialties including trauma, neuro, ortho, ENT, and robotics.
- Ensure the sterile environment and proper handling of surgical instruments and supplies.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient patient care and procedure flow.
- Maintain compliance with safety and procedural protocols, including radiation safety standards.
- Support multiple surgical units, potentially floating within scope as needed.
- Contribute to a dynamic, team-oriented surgical department with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) or equivalent certification (NCCT NOT accepted).
- BLS certification.
- Radiation badge obtained through the agency.
- Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience.
- Ability to assist in a variety of cases including neuro, ENT, orthopedics, trauma, and robotics.
- Flexibility to work scheduled shifts, including up to one weekend shift every four weeks.
- Willingness to be on-call up to four shifts every four weeks.
- Ability to float across units and facilities within scope.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with neurosurgery (spines/crani), ENT flaps, and robotic surgeries (DaVinci Xi).
- Familiarity with complex case support in a level-one trauma center.
- Experience in transplant, trauma, burns, GU, and GYN procedures.

- Travel/submission considerations: Local candidates welcomed; RTO requests should be included at submission and are subject to approval based on facility needs.
- Parking: $20 fee for garage parking permit at designated location.

- During hurricane season (June-November), employees may be assigned to emergency response teams.
- Travelers should plan accordingly to accommodate potential emergency assignments.
