Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality sleep studies to diagnose sleep disorders.
- Assist in delivering exceptional patient care by adhering to established protocols.
- Prepare and monitor sleep study equipment and environments.
- Document and evaluate sleep data to support accurate diagnoses.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient support.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited polysomnography or respiratory therapy program.
- Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) OR Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with sleep specialty (RRT-SDS).
- Valid Oregon license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a sleep lab or related healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with sleep study equipment and data analysis.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
