Key Responsibilities
- Perform computed tomography (CT) scans in adult and pediatric acute care and emergency settings
- Operate Siemens CT scanners and related imaging equipment, including PACS and specialized software for image post-processing
- Prepare and administer contrast media following safety protocols, including vascular and soft tissue imaging with and without contrast
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and isolation precautions during procedures
- Start peripheral IVs and conduct venipuncture as needed
- Document and communicate effectively using EPIC and email systems
Required Qualifications
- ARRT CT certification
- ARRT Radiography certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of imaging experience, including Siemens CT experience
- Ability to work independently, with experience in adult and pediatric acute care settings
- Knowledge of contrast media administration, radiation safety, and image post-processing techniques
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in outpatient imaging for adult and pediatric patients
- Proficiency in 3D rendering, MRP, ROI, and advanced image post-processing techniques
- Familiarity with vascular CTA procedures
