Registered Nurse PICU
Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Night shift, 13-week assignment, full-time (12.5-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric ICU patients in a high-acuity environment
- Monitor and manage patient hemodynamics, ventilators, and ICP
- Perform procedures such as IV starts, caths, trach care, and central line dressing changes
- Administer medications via IV pumps and maintain accurate documentation in Cerner
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float to Pediatric and NICU units as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina or the ability to obtain licensure
- At least 1 year of recent PICU experience
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Strong clinical skills in pediatric critical care procedures
- Ability to work night shifts and flexible scheduling
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Knowledge of pediatric emergency protocols
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
