- Days, Full-time, 4 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiogram, ultrasound, and sonography procedures to assist in patient diagnosis.
- Float between units as needed, covering various departments.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards during imaging procedures.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely imaging.
- Maintain equipment and ensure images are properly documented in the hospital’s electronic medical record system.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in echocardiography, ultrasound, or sonography.
- Certification as a Sonographer or Echocardiographer (e.g., RDMS or RDCS).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and on-call rotations.
- Proficiency in using Epic or similar charting systems.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an acute care hospital setting.
- Familiarity with various ultrasound modalities and specialized equipment.
