Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, temporary, 3x12 night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care primarily on the Medical/Surgical floor
- Assist in the Emergency Room as needed, covering short-term assignments
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Serve as charge nurse on some night shifts, overseeing nursing staff and patient flow
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of registered nursing experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Previous experience in Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Valid nursing license for the state of Kansas
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous charge nurse experience or leadership roles in nursing
- Travel nursing experience or flexibility to work in different hospital departments
- Experience working in a lively ER environment
