Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, Days shifts, Mon-Fri, 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide preoperative and intraoperative nursing care for patients in the Operating Room.
• Assist with a variety of surgical procedures including Orthopedic, Neuro, Vascular, GYN, Urology, Plastics, Bariatrics, ENT, and Robotics cases.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout surgical processes.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate efficient and safe procedures.
• Maintain sterile environments and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Document patient care and surgical details accurately in EPIC electronic health records.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience.
• Valid nursing license for the state of Maryland.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
• Ability to work scheduled days (Monday through Friday).

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with Orthopedic, Neuro, Vascular, GYN, and General Surgery cases.
• Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgeries.
• Prior experience in high-volume surgical environments.
