Full-time, Night shift, 36 hours per week, rotating shifts including weekdays, some weekends, and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) for adult patients with cardiac conditions
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
• Cover 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period
• Manage patient monitoring and support, including IV starts, telemonitoring, ventilators, Swan-Ganz catheters, and conscious sedation
• Administer treatments such as balloon pumps and PA lines, adhering to protocols and safety standards
• Maintain patient ratios typically 1:1, ensuring high-quality, attentive care

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent experience in a cardiac ICU setting
• Valid RN license with current CPR and ACLS certification
• Proficiency with IV starts, telemetry, ventilators, Swan-Ganz lines, and conscious sedation
• Experience with balloon pumps and PA lines
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical records systems
• Ability to adapt to unit float requirements with minimal supervision
