Key Responsibilities
- Circulate C-sections and assist with high-risk obstetric patients in a Level 1 trauma facility
- Provide patient care for antepartum, postpartum, and newborn stabilization
- Start IVs, draw labs, and administer medications such as oxytocin, magnesium sulfate, and insulin infusions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team, including advanced practice providers and ancillary staff
- Document patient care accurately using the EPIC system
- Support patient safety and comfort during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
Required Qualifications
- Active AR or Compact Nursing license
- Minimum of 2+ years' clinical experience in labor and delivery
- BLS certification
- Ability to circulate and perform scrub duties as applicable
- Experience with high-risk OB and fetal monitoring preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
- Experience in a teaching hospital setting
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
