Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, 5 shifts per week, Mids (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care to adult medical-surgical patients, including postoperative and acute care.
• Monitor and respond to patient needs using telemetry and other monitoring systems.
• Administer medications, blood products, and manage IV therapies and vascular access devices.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for patient treatment plans and emergency responses.
• Document patient care using Meditech system and communicate via CareThread.
• Assist with wound care, drain management, and respiratory support including oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway management.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with telemetry monitoring, invasive procedures, and post-surgical care.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems such as Meditech.
• Knowledge of medication management systems like Omnicell.
