Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech language pathology services to patients at a veterans facility.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for communication and swallowing disorders.
- Implement therapy sessions to support patient rehabilitation goals.
- Document patient progress and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Maintain compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Proven experience in speech therapy, preferably in a healthcare or veterans’ facility.
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting, particularly with veterans.
- Familiarity with teletherapy or remote service delivery (a plus).
