Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive cardiac nursing care to outpatients in a specialized cardiology clinic.
- Perform patient assessments, monitor vitals, and support diagnostic procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient interactions and treatments accurately in the electronic health record system.
- Educate patients on cardiac health, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
- Adhere to all clinical protocols and maintain compliance with healthcare standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Registered Nurse license in hand.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiology nursing.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac conditions, treatments, and procedures.
- Proficiency with electronic health records, preferably EPIC.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent patient communication and assessment skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous outpatient cardiology clinic experience.
- Experience with EPIC charting system.
- Ability to float within related units as needed.
