Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for individuals affected by illnesses, injuries, or conditions requiring long-term nursing and rehabilitation services.
- Administer IV therapies, antibiotics, wound care, and medications as part of comprehensive patient treatment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and implement patient care plans.
- Offer emotional support, guidance, and comfort to patients and their families.
- Comply with departmental policies, including working on days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- Occasionally work overtime to meet patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse license in the state of Maryland.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in LTC or SNF environments.
- Strong communication and patient advocacy skills.
- Ability to work in a rotating shift schedule.
