Full-time, nights, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized ICU nursing care during night shifts, including management of ventilated patients and airway procedures
• Administer and monitor IV drips, vasopressors, and continuous sedation treatments
• Manage complex patient cases involving multisystem organ dysfunction or failure, with a focus on neuro, thoracic, and post-surgical patients
• Perform triage, perform arterial blood gas interpretation, and interpret dysrhythmias
• Ensure isolation precautions and maintain computerized documentation of care
• Support patient safety through airway management, dysrhythmia management, and line care, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 to 2+

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), ACLS, BLS certifications required
• Strong neuro experience in an ICU setting
• Minimum of 1.5 years recent ICU experience
• Experience managing vented patients, dysrhythmias, central lines, and IV therapies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Experience with fempops, CEA, post-thoracic surgeries, post-cranial surgeries, and neurosurgeries
• Artline management (preferred for ER settings)
• Skills in managing airway, dysrhythmias, and complex patient care in high-acuity environments
