Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, nights shifts, approximately 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized ICU nursing care for critically ill patients, including airway management and vented patient care
• Manage dysrhythmias, central lines, IV drips, and continuous IV sedation
• Titrate IV vasopressors and interpret ABGs and dysrhythmias accurately
• Ensure patient safety through strict adherence to isolation precautions and triage protocols (ER/ER Holding)
• Maintain comprehensive, computerized documentation and utilize triage skills for acute patient assessment
• Collaborate in managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure, including post-surgical neurology and thoracic cases

Required Qualifications

• Current registered nurse licensure
• NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
• 1.5+ years of recent ICU experience
• Experience managing airway, vented patients, and dysrhythmias
• Proficient in use of invasive lines and IV management
• Strong triage and neuro patient care skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with fempops, CEAs, post-thoracic surgeries, neurosurgeries, and post-cranial procedures
• Prior travel nursing experience in ICU
• Ability to manage complex cases involving multisystem organ failure
