• Part-time, Night shifts, weekends required
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor patient safety and data during EEG procedures, including seizure detection
• Document relevant information during patient studies
• Collaborate with monitoring staff to oversee multiple patients
• Coordinate with monitoring company to transfer monitoring responsibility during STAT hook-ups or breaks
• Communicate effectively with physicians and supervisors regarding patient status and study updates
• Perform routine and long-term EEG procedures, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure proper data acquisition
Required Qualifications
• Certification as REEGT (Registered EEG Technician)
• CPR certification
• Experience with 10-20 EEG hookup and troubleshooting
• Ability to read and interpret basic EEG data and follow seizure protocols
• Knowledge of artifact identification and electrode troubleshooting
• Competency in marking and clipping data for physician review
• Ability to communicate clearly with clinical staff and physicians
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Phase 2 EEG technician experience (preferred, not required)
• Pediatric and adult epilepsy monitoring experience
• Experience with Nihon Kohden and Natus EEG equipment
