Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to emergency room patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Assess patient conditions, prioritize care, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with medical teams.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to physicians and families.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and medical records.
- Ensure safety and infection control standards are consistently upheld.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California Registered Nurse license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Proven experience in emergency room or critical care nursing.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to remain calm and provide excellent patient care in high-pressure situations.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior ER nursing experience within a hospital setting.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
