Key Responsibilities:

• Provide, coordinate, and direct comprehensive respiratory care to patients based on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Maintain current licenses and certifications, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
• Carry out respiratory therapy procedures within the scope of practice, ensuring patient safety and effective care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary.
• Assist with complex procedures and support OB-related respiratory care when required.

Required Qualifications:

• Current Washington State license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist and from wheelchair to bed, 50 pounds overhead, and push a loaded stretcher of 150 pounds.
• Strong auditory and visual abilities to perform procedures and patient assessments.
• Ability to work independently once oriented.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Minimum of one year of recent acute care experience; new graduates considered.
• Experience with OB or neonatal respiratory care preferred.
