Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, days shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients in a busy ER environment
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform clinical procedures
- Document patient assessments and treatments accurately in electronic health records
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and ensure patient safety
- Float within scope to meet facility needs across similar units or sister facilities
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina or Compact nursing license in hand prior to start
- Minimum of 2 years emergency room nursing experience
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS
- NIHSS and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and accommodate a flexible schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in acute care hospital settings
- Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
