Schedule / Job Type
- Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, part-time (3 shifts per week), on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to labor and delivery patients in a busy acute care hospital
- Monitor and assess patients’ progress during labor and delivery, ensuring safety and comfort
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and execute patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately using electronic health records (Epic)
- Maintain compliance with all required certifications and hospital policies
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN, LA Fire Card
- Ability to work night shifts and accommodate a flexible schedule as decided by the manager
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Magnet-designated acute care hospital
- Prior experience in a similar labor and delivery setting
