Job Title

• Surgical Technologist (Tech - Surgical)

• Helena, MT

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shift, 10-hour shifts, including weekend call (5-6 call shifts within a 6-week period)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in elective and emergent surgeries, primarily Orthopedic, Gynecology, Robotic, Urology, General, ENT, and Spine procedures
• Handle heavy total joint and orthopedic cases, demonstrating advanced surgical skills
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure smooth operation and patient safety
• Maintain sterile environment and assist during surgical procedures
• Utilize Electronic Medical Records (Epic) for documentation and patient information management
• Support hospital staff as needed and adhere to hospital policies and protocols

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred; BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience, including prior travel assignments
• Strong orthopedic and total joint experience essential
• Ability to work in a team environment, motivated, and task-oriented
• Prior experience with EPIC EMR system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel surgical tech experience
• Knowledge of robotic surgery procedures
• Ability to work independently and adapt to various surgical specialties
