Full-time, 3 days per week, day shifts (12-hour shifts, 7 AM - 7 PM), includes weekend and holiday rotations
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including those with respiratory illnesses, post-operative cases, orthopedics, GI bleed, CHF, diabetes, renal failure, and overdose
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform assessments per clinical protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and hospital policies
- Assist in patient education and discharge planning
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical and telemetry experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS and NIH preferred
- Experience with acutely ill medical-surgical and orthopedic patients
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with telemetry and EKG interpretation
- Familiarity with managing patients with respiratory, cardiac, or post-op conditions
- Flexibility to float between facilities as needed
- Knowledge of hospital compliance and safety protocols
