Job Title

Location
- Richmond, VA
Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Full-time, 13 weeks, Days shift (9:00 AM – 9:00 PM), 36 hours per week, with every other weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Provide acute emergency care to patients in a 25-bed ER unit, ensuring timely assessment and treatment
- Administer medications and perform procedures following established protocols and certifications
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation using systems like MediTech and Expanse
- Display excellent communication skills and foster personal connections with patients
Required Qualifications
- Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- Proven experience in emergency nursing at a minimum of 2 years
- Strong knowledge of ED procedures and competencies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to surges in patient volume
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with GE monitors, Baxter pumps, and Zoll travel monitors
- Familiarity with hospital-specific policies and procedures
- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus
