Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and their families.
• Use clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
• Contribute to a positive and professional workplace environment through effective communication.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Willingness to work 4 10-hour shifts, with on-call as required.
• Prior experience or relevant training in operating room nursing is preferred, but not specified.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in perioperative or surgical nursing settings.
• Knowledge of patient assessment and care planning specific to operating room environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team.
