Job Title
- Therapist - Occupational Therapist
Location
- St. Peters, MO
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days shifts, Monday to Friday with weekend rotation every 6 weeks, 8-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to a caseload of 8-10 patients daily in a hospital setting
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and document evaluations and progress notes using Epic EMR
- Perform patient and family education, safety assessments, and injury prevention strategies
- Manage cases involving CVA rehabilitation, adaptive equipment, and orthopedic procedures such as hip and knee replacements
- Participate in weekend rotations and on-call duties as required within scope of practice
- Ensure compliance with all facility and licensing requirements, including certifications and documentation protocols
Required Qualifications
- Current State Licensed Occupational Therapist
- BLS certification
- Epic EMR experience
- Acute care work setting experience
- Experience with CVA rehabilitation and adaptive equipment assessment
- Ability to lift and transfer patients, provide patient education, and ensure safety protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Hip Fracture/Total Hip Replacement and Total Knee Replacement cases
- Cognitive assessment experience
- Experience working with Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease patients
