Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Bloomington, IN
Schedule / Job Type: Contract, Night shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing care to Emergency Room patients during night shifts
- Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and deliver appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Float to nearby facilities as needed, accommodating staffing requirements
- Adhere to all safety protocols and certification standards
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent travel ER nursing experience
- Valid RN license
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
- Ability to work three 12-hour night shifts per week
- Required to work every other weekend and to be available for occasional float assignments
- RTO restrictions: Must work at least 2 out of 3 major holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Previous experience working in a similar hospital environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical settings when floated
