• Full-time, Day shifts, 3-4 weeks out from next orientation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care for surgical patients in the Operating Room.
• Assist with liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant surgeries, including organ retrieval and implantation.
• Prepare and maintain sterile environment and ensure compliance with OR protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical team to deliver high-quality patient care throughout procedures.
• Manage on-call shifts, including one weekday and two weekend 12-hour shifts per month.
• Adhere to hospital-specific requirements including timely completion of modules and nicotine-free policy.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in liver/organ transplant or relevant OR nursing.
• Proficiency in handling complex transplant procedures, including organ placement and transplant-specific skills.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS (must be current at submission), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start).
• Experience with surgical equipment such as Misonix/CUSA.
• Ability to work within a flexible scope and maintain compliance with hospital policies.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a teaching hospital or level trauma facility.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
• Willingness to work a block schedule and float within scope to meet facility needs.
