Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient and inpatient dialysis care in a fast-paced environment
- Support multiple units within a 40-minute radius of the primary location, including UVMMC Acute, Berlin, and Joy Drive
- Adapt to varying patient needs with strong clinical skills in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams while maintaining high standards of patient care
- Cover a minimum of 3 shifts per week, including some holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day)
Required Qualifications
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in outpatient dialysis
- Proven EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (personal or rental vehicle with all-season or snow tires during winter months)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical skills in outpatient and inpatient dialysis settings
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
