Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, evening shift (12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and reprocess reusable surgical instruments and supplies throughout the hospital.
• Perform cleaning, sterilization, and preparation of instrument trays, sterile linens, and supplies.
• Distribute reprocessed supplies and assist with pulling case carts.
• Support inventory control in the surgery department.
• Assist with transportation of patients and equipment as needed.
• Works under the direct supervision of the Sterile Tech Lead and reports to the Surgery Services Nurse Manager.

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience or training in sterile processing or surgical instrument reprocessing preferred.
• Ability to follow sterilization and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a hospital or surgical environment.
• Knowledge of sterilization equipment and procedures.
