Schedule / Job Type
- Part-time, 3 shifts per week, 10-hour shifts, including on-call as required
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide explanations and instructions to patients and responsible persons.
- Use clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
- Maintain accurate medical records and participate in continuing education.
- Contribute to a healthy workplace environment through professional communication and conflict management.
Required Qualifications
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an Operating Room or surgical nursing setting
- Knowledge of advanced cardiovascular and intensive care procedures
- Ability to work well within multidisciplinary teams
