Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to surgical and medical patients in a hospital setting
- Monitor patient vital signs and health status, and respond to emergencies
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient information accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
- Experience or familiarity with medical-surgical nursing preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- BLS/ACLS certification preferred
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems
