- Full-time, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, evening shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individual care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide explanations and instructions to patients and their families.
- Use clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development.
- Contribute to a positive, conflict-free workplace environment using professional communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- Previous ICU experience (preferably 2+ years).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in cardiac, stroke, or critical care services.
- Ability to demonstrate strong clinical judgment in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.
