Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, respond to changes, and implement care plans
- Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms; ensure patient safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Complete documentation accurately and timely
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ohio RN license or compact state license
- Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent experience in the Medical Surgical/Telemetry specialty prior to travel assignments
- At least 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience, travel experience acceptable
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Ability to work at least every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with ECG rhythm recognition assessments and safeMedicate system
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment
